Common Cents Couponing

I am not here to persuade you to add an extra room to your home so that you can store 10 years worth of products. My goal is to (hopefully) teach you a common cents approach to couponing! When I first started, I spent an hour clipping and organizing coupons and probably another hour in Wal-Mart buying every single item I had a coupon for. After 30 minutes in the check out line and quite a few sour looks from the cashier, the big moment arrived: I spent $175.00 and saved...... $12.00! I could not believe that I had wasted all of my precious time for so little savings! A very smart lady whom I work with heard about this and gave me some pointers (thanks Trish!). She explained to me how to save at Walgreen's and Rite Aid and gave me a list of her favorite blogs. This is where it all began! For some helpful hints, refer to my page above... Coupon 101. Enjoy!
